Say Hello to Coach Ryan L’Roy

Ryan swims masters every day from 12 - 1.  Good luck keeping up with him.  He'd be happy to have someone of his caliber to keep him moving even faster!

Swim Atlanta is happy to bring on board our new Head Age Group Coach Ryan L’Roy (pronounced L-Roy). Ryan comes to Atlanta from Oregon by way of Minnesota.

Ryan was formerly a head site coach for the Twin Cities Swim Club in Minneapolis Minn. His responsibilities included coaching the upper levels of the program as well as overseeing the administration of the team at his facility.

Ryan joined Twin Cities after a stint with the University of Minnesota, as an assistant coach, and as a varsity swimmer before that.

As a swimmer Ryan was a Big Ten conference qualifier, as well as an NCAA qualifier. Ryan specialized in distance freestyle.

Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program and we are excited to be able to learn from him! Ryan will be responsible for AGE, Senior, AG1, and AG2, as well as working with the other coaches in developing our age group program for the future.
